Child Protection Girl

Safe Sports Events, Activities and Competitions

Please find a link to a new publication, Safe sport events, activities and competitions produced by the Child Protection in Sport Unit.  The publication provides guidance on keeping children safe at sports events, activities and competitions.  It helps sports organisations to ensure they meet safeguarding responsibilities and promote the wellbeing of all participants and other young people involved.  It supersedes two earlier publications: Safe Sport Away and Safe Sports Events

It is recommend that you read the publication and use it as a basis to review your current safeguarding arrangements in this area.
