CHILDLINE

Childline is the free helpline for children and young people in the UK.  You will find further information on the Childline website or you can phone them on 0800 1111.

 

YOUNG SCOT

Young People can find out all the latest goings on in their local area, such as Helpful Contacts, News, What's On, SKOOL BUZZ, Discounts etc. on the Young Scot website.

 

POLICE

Strathclyde Police have a great website which you can visit and get loads of info on police jargon, enter prize draws and get info on everything from bullying, to child abuse and safe surfing.

 

INTERNET SAFETY

Child Exploitation and Online Protection centre have a fabulous website you can visit to get loads of advice on keeping yourself safe whether Gaming, using Mobiles, Chatting Online, Podcasts and Blogs. Also look out for the "Eye" Logo at the top right hand of the site where children and young people can report abuse and get the help they need.

 

LIVING AWAY FROM HOME

Who Cares? work with children who are living with foster carers or in residential care.  You can find out more information about them on their website.

 

BULLYING?

Childline have information about bullying, with lots of tips for young people.
