Glasgow Child Protection Committee and the Scottish Government delivered a conference on Child Trafficking.
The event was attended by practitioners from Glasgow and all over Scotland, and provided a valuable opportunity to reflect on what has been learnt so far about child trafficking, and consider the challenges in supporting this very vulnerable and hidden group of children.
The following presentations were made at the conference:
Child Trafficking in the UK and globally: Debbie Proctor ECPAT
Child Trafficking - a national perspective: Phil Raines, Scottish Government
Child Trafficking - developing a multi agency response - Moira McKinnon, Glasgow City Council
Supporting women who have been trafficked as children: Bronagh Andrew, TARA
What does the research tell us? Paul Rigby, Glasgow City Council
