Structure

Glasgow Child Protection Committee reports to the Chief Executives of Strathclyde Police, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and Glasgow City Council.  The Chief Officers Group meet 4 times a year with the Chair and the Vice Chair of the Committee and Lead Officer to review the work of the Committee.

In addition to this, the work of the Child Protection Committee (CPC) is facilitated by a Core Group which meets outwith the CPC cycle to ensure the CPC agenda and action plan are progressed.  The Core Group is chaired by the CPC Chair person and has representation from Social Work, Education, Health and Police.
